Over the last year Qui! Group invested more than ?15 million in innovative projects. This Italian company is growing at a fast pace thanks to the young age of its employees, who are on average 34 years old, and to the high percentage of women employed (70% out of the over one thousand employees).
Qui! Group places great focus on research and development. It has three on going research projects with the universities of Trento, Torino and Salerno. Thanks to these enriching cooperative relationships, Qui! Group evolved over the years from an old styled company selling meal vouchers to an innovative company delivering advanced welfare solutions.
In 1989, current Ceo Mr. Gregorio Fogliani founded Qui! Group in Genoa. It started off selling meal vouchers called "Buono Pasto Qui! Ticket" and today it has become the first Italian company in the meal voucher market with offices in the main Italian cities (Milan, Venice, Rome and Naples) and branches in the whole country.
Everything started when more and more clients started asking for some "special arrangements and special prices" for regular costumers, and over the years it successfully tested and launched many different products, such as prepaid cards as payment systems or loyalty programs based on cash-back schemes. In 2012 they made it possible to transfer all the vouchers on your mobile phone to combine different services into one technological device.
Qui! Group also engages with corporate social responsibility activities. In 2008 QUI Foundation was created to support non-for profit organisation around the world. Their main focus is on prevention of food wastage. The leading project is called "Pasto Buono" and one of their jobs involves collecting unsold meals from restaurants and cafes and re-distribute them to people in need. QUI Foundation cooperates on a national scale with associations like Caritas and S. Egidio Community, who deal with social aid provision.
With more than 20 million units linked to their services, Qui! Group represents a unique example of Italian excellence, and it is probably ready to start planning its international launch.
