A free master course in Turin to train top managers and invest in the future of Italy. This is the purpose of the Mba program at the Collège des Ingénieurs Italia, an initiative of the Associazione per la formazione d'eccellenza (Association for the Training of Excellence), founded and promoted by the Giovanni Agnelli Foundation, Edoardo Garrone Foundation and Pirelli Foundation, with the Association du Collège des Ingénieurs of Paris, one of the most respected European private institutions in the field of management training, Compagnia di San Paolo and Crt Foundation. Thirty-five young graduates this year will be able to apply for admission to the ten-month master course, which will start at the beginning of September 2011 and end in June 2012.
They will study advanced systems on such subjects as intercultural communication, investment analysis, industrial relations, marketing and others, with the support of international professors from universities all over the world. The fundamental requisites for participation are an excellent scholastic curriculum, a graduate degree of 99 or better, knowledge of English, and skills in teamwork and problem solving. The candidates must be result-oriented, with a strong spirit of initiative and good leadership skills. After a first screening on the basis of the résumé, the candidates will be examined in group evaluation sessions and individual interviews, also in English.
During the interviews they can express their preferences for the sector of activity that interests them most. The partner companies, from Italy, France, Germany and Switzerland, participate actively in the process of selection. After a period of four months in the classroom, the students will have an internship of six months, with a junior consultant's salary, with one of the partners in the project. They include companies like Fiat, Case New Holland, Ferrari, Juventus, Prysmian, Edison, Aon, Magneti Marelli, Pirelli. The master also includes training weeks in France, Germany and Swizerland.
