Priceless Milano is the new restaurant "Expo-specific" open from the 6th of May until October where clients will have the chance to make unique food experiences and attend special events within the historical scenario of Piazza della Scala, the heart of Milan.
The exclusivity of the restaurant is revealed by its 24 seats as well as by its main protagonists. In particular, the Gourmet and Farmer Chef Antonello Colonna who brings along his Roman culinary tradition mixed with typical elements of Lombardy. Moreover, Tommaso Arrigoni and Eros Picco - an extrovert expert in wines and a creative silent mind - will offer a menu entitled "50 shades of green" based on seasonal vegetables matched with excellent meat or fish. The third big name in the kitchen of Priceless Milano will be Rik Jansma, whose menu will use only local products. He is among the youngest Netherlander Chefs awarded with Michelin stars, whose restaurant - Basiliek - has soon become an icon of Dutch cuisine. He is also part of the prestigious European Chefs association Jeunes Restaurateurs d'Europe (JRE). A woman will also be part of the team. She is Chef Aurora Mazzucchelli, from Bologna, awarded of several prizes by Michelin, L'Espresso, Gambero Rosso, Touring Club and in 2012 she was conferred the title of "Best Italian Chef" by the guide Identità Golose.
The restaurant will have one big table only, fostering conviviality and dialogue among clients, visitors and the eminent cooks. Everyday there will be activities related to show cooking, tasting, meetings with stars, musical performances, cultural premières and surprise events.
The location was conceived by the Park Associates architects with a theatrical nature. Sliding walls will isolate the dining room and the already prepared table will come down the ceiling surprising all the guests.
Finally, this initiative - supported by Mastercard as one of the projects "OutExpo" animating the city during the universal exposition- is eco-friendly and uses recyclable Made in Italy materials.
